I found this article on Gizmodo today and I couldn't disagree with it more. See my post at Triple-tri.com about my experience with a vertical mouse: here. I'll admit it took some getting used to but in no time at all I was zipping around like a "normal" mouse and had little/no problem after the first week of use. I found, at the end of the day, that my hand felt less fatigued than a full day of computer-ing with a standard mouse. It was a test to rethink of the motion of your hand/wrist/arm involved in clicking and moving about the workspace and the amount of attention the mouse generated was impressive. My final verdict, while not for everyone, the vertical mouse is a nice diversion from the norm, a great chance to try something new, change your perspective and turn a few heads.
